Georgia Horton

Georgia Horton is a British artist, who describes her highly illustrative wallpapers as 'organic and architectural'. Her intriguing patterns, which make up the bold, contemporary 'One Collection', are produced in England using the finest quality ink and paper, and the designs are all hand-printed using hand-mixed colours and a silk screen process.
Georgia Horton focuses on the themes of light and texture, evident in the symmetry and the illusionary effect illusion of her very distinctive, beautifully drawn wallpapers which come in a range of striking colours with metallic finishes.
This unique collection includes Quilt, Minna, Leaves, Follow Me, Pavilion Palms, Ribbon and Hues, Genevieve, Mikada, Parisienne and Lobster Qaudrille, the latter adding a light-hearted touch of fun to an outstanding range of wallpapers. Brought up in South Africa, Georgia later trained in Italy as an artist before returning to South Africa to work with traditional and fashion textiles.
She is now based at the thriving Creek Creative Studios in Faversham, continuing to build on the success of her hand-painted debut collection in 2009 by producing wallpaper designs of the highest quality year on year.
