Graham and Brown was formed as a company in 1946 by two friends, Harold Graham and Henry Brown. Just after the war, it was an ideal time, because people were wanting to escape from all the darkness and misery of the war years and brighten up their home with lashings of colour.
Such was the popularity of its products that the company found difficulty in meeting demand, but from that time until the present day it has continued to produce high quality wallpaper, as well as paint, and it goes from strength to strength.
Through the years Graham and Brown gradually incorporated new family members' ideas, and in the 1990s they created the first ever batch-less wallpapers.
