Pip Wallpaper
PIP wallpapers PIP’s real name is Catharina, but everyone knows her by her nickname. PIP was the first word that she ever spoke and her brothers just started calling her that. The rest of the family soon followed and these days no one knows any different.
After PIP graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts, she bought a dilapidated old Victorian house and set up a studio there. All PIP’s products must meet her motto: ‘Happy products for Happy People’. She gets her inspiration from every-day incidents and has a style that is warm and intimate.
She often uses a mix and match concept with layered patterns and has a sharp eye for tiny details and special finishing touches combined with a subtle colour pallet. For example, there is one collection of trend-setting detailed wallpapers with layered prints in the 'happiest' of colour combinations. Picture classical garden birds sitting on slender branches of blossom sparkling in gold and silver; trailing florals interspersed with butterflies, and cross-stitch designs which can be used with stripes and polka dots.
There are unexpected colours – fireman red, warm grey and canary yellow or the fresh tones of minty blues and greens – blending to provide a unique concept of wallpaper coverings.
