Savanna Shell was inspired by South Africa’s Leopard Tortoise, whose beautiful markings mimic a leopard’s rosettes. The tortoise’s high, domed shell is covered with pyramid-shaped scutes that fit together like a puzzle in refracted light, as if the tortoise is swimming underwater or walking through dappled sun on the savanna.
