Sandberg
Sandberg is a Swedish design factory producing high-quality textiles and wallpaper to give settings and interiors a warm, personal touch. It takes great pride in admitting that it is the slowest production in the world as the edges on the wallpaper in its Ulricehamn factory are still painted by hand and every roll is carefully inspected before it leaves.
The company claims that the quality reflects the care that is taken with the artwork. Surface printing enables them to create their own unique world of wallpapers, with a remarkable range of colours and patterns to cater for a variety of tastes.
Most of the collections have a distinctly Scandinavian feel. The Linnea paste-the-wall collection, for example, is a tribute to the Swedish spring and summer with an abundance of fresh, floral designs, while Villa Harmonica is an enticing mix of designs, taking their inspiration from 1930s Gothenburg. There are golfers, food plates, irises, and sailing boats, together with checks and trellis patterns, all in delicate shades perfect for fresh, country living. Sandberg also protects the environment by refusing to use any ingredients in its manufacturing that can potentially harm the environment or cause allergies.
