A magnificently brooding 1900 design from designer, J.H. Dearle. Dearle’s training as William Morris’ tapestry apprentice is beautifully demonstrated here in Elmcote. With gallant seedheads and miniature flowers, the design is connected by swirling foliage arranged in a classically Dearle style. Seen here in the Gold colourway, this rug is handtufted 100% pure new wool.
