Sanderson
Arthur Sanderson started his business in 1860 importing and selling wallpaper. Throughout its long history, Sanderson has continued to produce wallpaper to suit the style of the times and the range today includes bold stylised, feminine florals, classic English chintzes, plain textures, smart stripes, trellises, metallics, damasks, pearlescents and small scale motifs which are all printed in the UK.
Having been granted a Royal Warrant in 1923, Sanderson still supplies fabrics, paint and wall coverings to HM Queen Elizabeth II and British Royal Palaces. Well known for its traditional, English inspired design, Sanderson is also innovative in its use of colour and production techniques, drawing on the creativity of young contemporary designers, to produce wall-coverings ideal for the modern interior.
Launched by Sanderson in September this year the Aegean collection features sea sprays, tumbled glass washed up on the beach, coral, fossils and wind-blown cascades of blossoms and it is as eye-catching as it is beautiful. Another new collection is Madison - a vibrant range of wallpapers with a contemporary feel. The designs draw their inspiration from organic forms such as grasses, flowers and foliage painted in a simple abstract style. Throughout the Sanderson collections you will find exceptional quality, with hand-drawn designs at affordable prices.
